Event & Community Code of Conduct

01Our commitment

Create & Cultivate (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, EIN 88-1557753, with its principal mailing address at 2413 Kittyhawk Dr, Plano, TX 75025-6093.

We are building spaces where ambitious women can connect openly and safely. Everyone who attends an event, joins our community, or participates in our programs is expected to follow this code — attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, staff, and volunteers alike.

02Expected behavior

• Treat everyone with respect, professionalism, and good faith.
• Be considerate in speech and action, and mindful of differing perspectives.
• Respect people's boundaries, including physical space and privacy.
• Respect confidentiality when a conversation or session is designated private.
• Follow venue rules and the instructions of event staff.

03Unacceptable behavior

• Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
• Unwelcome sexual attention, advances, or physical contact.
• Offensive or demeaning comments related to gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Stalking, following, or persistent unwanted contact.
• Photographing or recording someone who has asked not to be recorded.
• Sustained disruption of talks, sessions, or other events.
• Aggressive or predatory solicitation of attendees, including unsolicited recruiting or sales pressure.
• Threats or advocacy of violence, and any conduct that endangers others.

04Reporting a concern

If you experience or witness a violation, tell any staff member or event organizer immediately, or email hello@createcultivate.llc. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

Reports are handled discreetly. We will not disclose your identity beyond those who need to know to respond, and we will not retaliate against anyone who reports in good faith.

05Enforcement

We may take any action we consider appropriate, including a warning, exclusion from a session, removal from the event without refund, a ban from future events, and reporting conduct to law enforcement where warranted.

06Scope

This code applies at all our physical and virtual events and venues, including related social gatherings, and to our online community spaces and communications.
